This year’s summer camp was built around the theme of “airplanes,” with English lessons that were both fun and practical, focusing on common conversations during air travel. Through role-plays and interactive scenarios, campers practiced checking in, ordering meals, and engaging in in-flight interactions—just like they were on a real trip. These activities helped them overcome shyness, speak up with confidence, and express themselves in English.
We were also delighted to welcome several older students from Asia American International Academy (AAIA) as mentors. They not only guided activities in class but also connected with the kids during breaks, serving as both role models and friends, which made the learning atmosphere warmer and more engaging. With this approach, children not only improved their speaking skills but also fell in love with English in a relaxed and joyful environment—discovering that learning can be both fun and rewarding.
